Saturday 1st - walks **** – Felixstowe and Falkenham – Foggy start then sunny with light winds.

Walk 1 – foggy Felixstowe.

First day of Spring and we woke to a good frost with fog again so decided to walk down to Felixstowe seafront to take some weather pics at 7.10 and it was lovely with the sun showing through a thin layer of fog with even a covering of ice on the cars! I stayed around the pier and got some lovely pics, sadly none made it onto the telly but not many are ever used at the weekend. Then home to warm up in bed with the electric blanket and sort out my pics before getting up to do my exercises while Mag planted out her new purchases and brushed the cats, they loved that!

Walk 2 – Falkenham circuit.

We had a slot booked at the dump at one so I packed a picnic for after to make the most of the light winds and sunshine! The dump was over quickly as was Lidl and the charity shop to drop something off before setting off to one of our favourites, Falkenham Church spotting a large herd of deer before parking at 1.45 and then enjoyed a peaceful picnic lunch with ‘Emily’ enjoying the view down to the Deben as a buzzard flying overhead:) Despite my heel which is still playing up even with all the exercises and shoes with inserts, fingers crossed it gets better soon, we headed off for a walk. We did the inland circuit which was lovely seeing very few people but stopped to talk to a lovely lady out with her two dogs in her mobility scooter:) We saw a couple of hares and another buzzard before returning to the van and home for a cuppa and cake, top day!
